Product Introduction
Key Selection Points
1. The key control parameters for selecting smoke and fire dampers include standards, etc.
2. Smoke and fire dampers are mainly used in HVAC systems. Except for smoke and fire dampers used in commercial kitchen oil fume exhaust systems (with an activation temperature of 150℃), most smoke and fire dampers used in HVAC systems have an activation temperature of 70℃.
3. Smoke and fire dampers are mainly used in pipelines of ventilation, central air conditioning, or smoke exhaust systems. Their basic parameters and application scopes are shown in Table 1.
4. When selecting a valve, attention should be paid to its functions, such as requirements for the smoke exhaust valve to interlock and start the fan, normal open/closed state, automatic closing/opening, manual closing/opening, manual reset, signal output, and remote control.
5. If the valve is interlocked with a centrifugal fan, it should be equipped with a double microswitch device.
6. The valve plate blades should be made of carbon steel with a thickness of 2–6mm. The valve plate should be made of flame-retardant materials. Rotating components should be made of corrosion-resistant metal materials and operate flexibly. The thickness of the valve shell should not be less than 2mm. Fusible components should comply with the certification standards of the fire-fighting department.
