Product Introduction
The corridor is long, and a mechanical smoke exhaust system is installed, with only one smoke-proof zone per floor height. An electrically controlled normally closed smoke and fire damper is planned on the main smoke exhaust pipe of each floor, an electrically controlled normally closed smoke exhaust valve is planned for each smoke exhaust outlet on each floor, and an electrically controlled normally closed smoke and fire damper is also planned at the suction inlet of the fire-fighting smoke exhaust fan. Obviously, this plan has functional redundancy, as well as redundancy in modules, valves, and construction costs.
Recommendations:
- Option 1: Cancel the smoke exhaust valves and their control modules at the smoke exhaust outlets, and replace the air outlets with single-layer louver curtains.
- Option 2: Replace the electrically controlled normally closed smoke and fire dampers on the main smoke exhaust pipes of each floor with normally open smoke and fire dampers that close automatically at 280℃, and replace the smoke and fire damper control modules with corresponding monitoring modules.
Both options can meet the fire-fighting standards, and the actual control is very stable.
